Oye Vey! Amar’e Stoudemire Goes On The Hunt For His Jewish Roots
Oye Vey! Looks like the Jewish community might have a new Hebro. Amar’e Stoudemire says he MIGHT have some Jewish blood in him and he’s going to look for it.
TMZ is reporting that although he doesn’t have any evidence to confirm it, Amar’e Stoudemire thinks he’s 1/1700th a little Jewish. His agent even confirmed that the hunt for Manischewitz has only just begun.
His agent told TMZ, “I know there are some reports that he is Jewish, but he is not. He thinks there may be some Jewish blood on his mother’s side and he is researching it.”
Coincidentally, he just signed a 100 million dollar contract with the NY Knicks and is currently trekking through Israel to learn Hebrew and “studying the religions there.”
Have things gotten so bad that a black man would rather hunt for a drop of Jew, than claim a black bloodline? Hopefully his hunt for heritage will reveal some things he can be proud of. Ain’t that some shmutz.
Bron Bron’s ‘Decision’ Gets A Final Grade!
LeBron James’ so-called ‘Decision’…let’s just say it didn’t hit the mark that some thought it did. Pop the hood for details.
Do you remember where you were when LeBron took over the television and held you captive to let you know he was taking his talents to South Beach? A wasted hour out of your life on something that could have taken thirty seconds to say. Well it looks like ESPN was just as annoyed as the rest of America who had to sit through that bullsh*t of a special. Don Ohlmeyer, ESPN’s person of journalistic matters graded the special and gave LeBron a big fat a$s ‘F!!’ After a few weeks Ohlmeyer wrote his final verdict on the shuck and jive parade known as the ‘Decision’. He didn’t hold back either on what he thought about ESPN and LeBron.
No matter how convoluted the intellectual gymnastics, ESPN “paid” for exclusive access to a news story. For the network, there is quantifiable revenue associated with the Thursday 9-10 p.m. programming hour. That revenue was forgone, yielded in exchange for the exclusive. Team LeBron sold those advertising units. The fact that it was in turn distributed to charity was immaterial, journalistically. James used ESPN’s commercial spots in an effort to enhance his image as a responsible, caring charitable guy — there’s direct value to James in doing so, and he did it courtesy of the network, and with the sponsor’s money.
Damn, that dude doesn’t bite his tongue. ESPN learned their lesson after this one–don’t drink the Bron Bron Kool-Aid! Go Cavs!!!
Can You Guess Which One Of Us Went From Classy To Ashy?!
In the words of the late Rick James from the now defunct ‘Chappelle Show’, “They shoulda never gave you niggas money!!!” Former USC Heisman Trophy winner and athletic director Mike Garrett gets shown the door. Pop the hood for more!
My how the mighty have fallen! Remember when USC was the mega-power school that produced college greats like Matt Leinart, Carson Palmer, Mark Sanchez and Reggie Bush? Well those days are over for sure as of today. With the exit of the once ‘Pope’ like coach Pete Carroll who jetted faster than Whitney to a crack house for the NFL, to their now ousted AD. Mike Garrett who once graced the USC football field as an elite player has been under scrutiny for the sanctions handed down to the program during his tenure, with Reggie Bush and OJ Mayo and the benefits received by both players.
USC will return the 2005 Heisman Trophy that Bush won during their championship year. They will also remove any mentions of both players from USC as they try to distance themselves away from this ‘nukka mess’. Garrett has held the position as the USC athletic director for 17 years but he is now being replaced by former USC quarterback and Rhodes scholar Pat Haden. Haden spoke on the former AD Garrett by saying,
“I would give Mike Garrett pretty good grades. For the most part, USC stayed out of trouble.”
Wow! Many speculated that USC was on some shady ‘ish’ well this right here solidifies that speculation. Right now Reggie Bush is doing an OJ trying to hold onto and hide his Heisman! Mike Garrett is being ridiculed by his peers for being the dumbest ‘mofo’ in the world. Although the NCAA has handed out numerous violations and sanctions on the school it is still college sports, so the chances of them ‘effin’ up again are highly probable!
D-Fish Lets The Lakers Know…
NBA veteran point guard Derek Fisher has a new team! Pop the hood for more.
It looks like the Lakers will keep one of their core free-agents as Derek Fisher announced that he will stay with the NBA champion Los Angeles Lakers. D-Fish has played 11 of his 14 years in NBA with the Lakers and has won 5 championships. He was pursued by other teams especially by the Miami Heat who just created a super squad with LeBron James,Chris Bosh and Dwayne Wade. How could he turn down playing for the Super Friends just to stay in LA? Oh, that’s right he’s on Kobe’s nuts!!!
This means another year of Fisher flopping around the court like a big-headed fish!
Oh, Jesse Jackson!

Getting a bit dramatic, are we?
Jesse Jackson spoke out against Cleveland Cavaliers owner Dan Gilbert saying that he sees LeBron James as a "runaway slave" and that Gilbert's comments about LeBron joining the Miami Heat put the basketball star in danger!
Gilbert said last week about LeBron:
"He has gotten a free pass. People have covered up for (James) for way too long. Tonight we saw who he really is."
And Jackson's response?
"He speaks as an owner of LeBron and not the owner of the Cleveland Cavaliers. His feelings of betrayal personify a slave master mentality. He sees LeBron as a runaway slave. This is an owner employee relationship — between business partners — and LeBron honored his contract."
Yikes!
Thoughts??
